In 2015, the Victorian Parliament approved changes
to the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 to reform the governance arrangements of Victoria's TAFE Institutes.
These changes took effect on 1 January 2016 and involved the remaking of TAFE Institute Constitutions and a transition to new TAFE
Boards. A strong program of training for new and continuing Board Directors, including Board Chairs, has been developed and facilitated by the Victorian TAFE Association.
